We are based in the lovely, quiet area of old Basing. There are so many walks around us where the dogs can stretch their legs.
-Are we licensed?
Absolutely! We are licensed by Basingstoke and Deane borough council. We are also fully insured and qualified in pet first aid.
-How do I book?
You can use the contact details on the contact us page to make an enquiry either by phone, text or email. Just remember to include your name and contact details so we can get back to you. We will then arrange a consultation at our residence to make sure your dog gets on with the resident dogs.
-Will my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes. Just like kennels, your dog will need to be up to date with their annual vaccinations and kennel cough. (Even though this is not a kennels, it is still required)
-What will I need to provide for my dog?
Everything that you would normally supply a family member or friend if they were looking after your dog, for example: food, bowl, lead, bed and anything else that they have at home which may make their stay more comfortable. All food whether it be kibble, wet or raw food must be provided by yourselves.
-Are all dogs suitable for home boarding?
No. In my experience, I’ve had dogs that didn’t settle and advised that their dog would probably benefit from a house sitter rather than coming into someone else’s home where they’re unfamiliar. That’s why we hold trial sessions, just to make sure they are 100% comfortable with us and the environment.
-Where do the dogs sleep?
The dogs have access to the entire ground floor. They’ll have their own beds and they’re also allowed on the sofa. We can also provide a crate if needed.
-What if my dog becomes ill while we’re away?
Should we feel the need to take your dog to the vet, we will take them to their registered vet or if an Emergency to the nearest vet available. We will contact you at the first opportunity and keep you updated throughout the process. The cost of treatment will be reclaimed on your return if it is not being dealt with through your pets insurance.
